What you see is a subject that is very dear to me, it represents a truly interesting uniqueness, a bird together with a snake with the same head.
I "stole" it from a small ivory plaque carved on the Bamberg casket, which you can see by scrolling through the post.
It is very rare to find a snake like this, many of the meanings that the ancients "hid" in these artefacts are lost over time, but this encourages me to study more and more to look for what these hidden meanings could be in their complex symbolism. Why do you think it was done this way? :)

To create this arm I didn't limit myself to copying the plaque of the casket, I drew all the ornament you see freehand, directly on the customer's skin, inventing it from scratch and using the Mammen style, the stylistic phase of Viking art to which the original subject belongs, modeling it both on the anatomy of the arm and around another tattoo, already present and not tattooed by me.
