This is a print of my original painting of the great wolf Fenrir, chained by the gods with the mythical Gleipnir, the silk-like chain forged by the dwarves using the sound of a cat’s step, a woman’s beard, mountain roots, bear’s sinews, fish’s breath and bird’s milk.

Although Viking art was rarely used to depict mythological scenes, I have used my knowledge of the Mammen style to draw a wolf entwined in a historically authentic knot.

It can be displayed either horizontally or vertically.
